The Rockland Job Network is comprised of a peer to peer network of individuals seeking employment and who are experiencing challenges in their search for new careers. The group started in October 2011 and meets twice per month at various libraries throughout Rockland County. These free meetings are an open dialog that includes discussions of job search: strategies and motivation; branding and networking techniques; trainings available to enhance skills; and ideas on how to find that great job. It is a platform for information and speakers who can help, teach and encourage. Information about career fairs and other networking groups and events is also presented. If you are searching for a job, changing careers or under-employed, please join our energetic and caring group. Hopefully you will feel restored and re-invigorated in your career planning and search.
