helpingAs I know there are times when things get so bad you don't know where to turn, as I was in pretty difficult financial shape and then had the medical scare with no health insurance.
know exactly what it is like to not know how you will feed your family, keep a roof over their heads, and to deal with medical costs that unavoidable to many of us without insurance or the ability to pay for any insurance. I have set up this page up as a resource center for any NhNUSA member to be able to reach me or any organization listed below on a confidential basis. We all know the collateral damage that long-term unemployment can cause to a family's savings, finances, mental health and causing many other family relationship situations. Some members have to go without health insurance, auto insurance, gas and electric and some may have serious food needs. My promise to you is i will connect you with the best of my ability to the proper agencies or people who can help. I am also open for suggestions of the agencies and private individuals who may want to help NhN members who are truly in an emergency state. Contact me confidentially at my email John R. Fugazzie We encourage our members who want to to volunteer and to be able to help these organizations offering these very needed services. These organizations perform service in a range of different fields, from youth mentoring, homeless shelters, and food banks, to disaster relief. You are sure to find the organization or opportunity that matches your passion, skills, and interest to help.

Head Office (administration) 71 Summit Avenue Summit, NJ 07901 Tel: (908) 273-1100 Fax: (908) 273-0030 History Karen Olson, Founder & President, Family Promise In 1982, Karen Olson was a marketing executive who developed promotional campaigns for consumer products. One morning, on her way to a meeting, she saw a homeless woman, someone she'd seen over and over again on her way to work. She decided to buy a sandwich for the woman. The stranger accepted the sandwich but asked for something else - a moment to be heard, to be comforted, and to be considered as more than a mere statistic on a cold street corner. |
